The Ark Project currently in production at Rocking J’s Hostel in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, aims to provide the essentials of life should a disaster occur. The structure, made from ten, 40ft, steel shipping containers, is Earth Quake and Tsunami Proof. When the Ark isn’t busy saving lives, it will be used for several other purposes. There will be deluxe living quarters, viewing platforms and a large deck with a beautiful beach view, perfect for parties and festivals. One container is a fully functioning work shop, one a complete gym and another a music recording studio. The Arks close proximity to Rocking J’s Hostel will bring a consistant crowd to the Ark, until the Ark starts drawing the masses itself. We are currently looking for people and businesses interested in donating supplies and materials for our project.
